Conductive and Transparent Poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) Hydrogels with Tunable LCST Copolymerized by the Green Acrylamide-Based Deep Eutectic Solvent

TL;DR: In this paper , the ionic conductive deep eutectic solvent (DES) composed of acetylcholine chloride (ACh) and acrylamide (AAm) was used to construct the PAAm-DES/PNIPAM hydrogel.

Preparation of three regioisomeric ionic liquid stationary phases and investigation of their retention behavior.

TL;DR: In this article , three regioisomeric ionic liquid silane reagents were prepared by photo-initiated ene-click chemistry and bonded to silica by one-pot method to fabricate three new stationary phases (Sil-C2Im-C8, Sil-C6Im-c4, and SilC9Im-1).

A multifunctional and sustainable poly(ionic liquid)-quaternized chitosan hydrogel with thermal-triggered reversible adhesion.

TL;DR: A quaternized chitosan (QCS)@poly(ionic liquid) (PIL) hydrogel adhesive was prepared by in-situ ultraviolet (UV)-induced copolymerization of 1-vinyl-3-butyl imidazolium bromide ([BVIm][Br]) and methacryloyloxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride (DMC) in QCS aqueous solution without using any crosslinkers, which was stably crosslinked by reversible hydrogen bonding together with ion association and exhibited excellent adhesion, plasticity, conductivity and recycling properties as discussed by the authors .

Ionic Liquids in Synthesis

TL;DR: The early years of Ionic liquid production were covered in this article, where a new generation of soluble supports for Supported Organic Synthesis (SPOS) was proposed. But this support was not applied to the task-specific Ionic liquids.

Solution Properties of Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)

TL;DR: In this paper, a lower critical solution temperature of poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide was found to be due to an entropy effect, which was attributed to the formation of nonpolar and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
