The search for a realistic flipped SU(5) string model
TLDR
In this article, an extensive search for a class of flipped SU(5) models built within the free fermionic formulation of the heterotic string is presented, and a set of algorithms which constitute the basis for a computer program capable of generating systematically the massless spectrum and the superpotential of all possible models within the class we consider.About:

TL;DR: The supersymmetric contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is computed within the context of SU(5)\times U(1)$ supergravity models and can easily exceed the present experimentally allowed range, even after the LEP lower bounds on the sparticle masses are imposed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors systematically constructed flipped SU(5) x U(1)(X) models without and with bulk vector-like particles from F-theory, and studied the coupling unification in detail.

Group theory for unified model building
TL;DR: In this article, the results gathered here on simple Lie algebras have been selected with attention to the needs of unified model builders who study Yang-Mills theories based on simple, local symmetry groups that contain as a subgroup the SUw2 × Uw1 × SUc3 symmetry of the standard theory of electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions.

Supersymmetry, supergravity theories and the dual spinor model
TL;DR: The connection between the dual spinor model and supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories was studied in this article, where it was shown that in the low-energy region, the dual-spinor model yields a supersymmemic Yang-mills theory with O(4) internal symmetry.
