Kinetics of Monodisperse Iron Oxide Nanocrystal Formation by “Heating-Up” Process
Soon Gu Kwon,Yuanzhe Piao,Jongnam Park,S. Angappane,Younghun Jo,Nong-Moon Hwang,Je-Geun Park,Taeghwan Hyeon +7 more
TL;DR: The theoretical work showed that the "heating-up" and "hot injection" processes could be understood within the same theoretical framework in which they share the characteristics of nucleation and growth stages.

The thermal behaviour of divalent and higher valent metal soaps: a review
TL;DR: The thermal behavior of di-, tri-and tetravalent metal soaps (carboxylates) is reviewed in this paper, with reference to both the phase behaviour and thermal decomposition.

Gas-bubble effects on the formation of colloidal iron oxide nanocrystals.
TL;DR: It is reported that gas bubbles can be used to tailor the kinetics of the nucleation and growth of inorganic-nanocrystals in a colloidal synthesis, and it is suggested that a prerequisite for effectively suppressing secondary nucleation in aColloidal synthesis is that the primary nucleation must produce a critical amount of nuclei.

Synthesis of N-Type Plasmonic Oxide Nanocrystals and the Optical and Electrical Characterization of their Transparent Conducting Films
Benjamin T. Diroll,Thomas R. Gordon,E. Ashley Gaulding,Dahlia R. Klein,Taejong Paik,Hyeong Jin Yun,E. D. Goodwin,Divij Damodhar,Cherie R. Kagan,Christopher B. Murray +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a general synthesis for a family of n-type transparent conducting oxide nanocrystals through doping with aliovalent cations is presented, which exhibit localized surface plasmon resonances tunable in the mid and near-infrared with increasing dopant concentration.

Thermal reactivity of metal oxalate hydrazinates
TL;DR: In this paper, metal acetate hydrazinates, M(CH3COO)2(N2H4)2 (M = Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) have been characterized by chemical analysis and infrared absorption spectra.

The Catalytic Decomposition of Formic Acid
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic decomposition of formic acid is discussed, and the analytical determination of the reaction products does not present great difficulties and can be performed by a mass spectrometric analysis with the spectrometer directly connected to the reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Crystal Structures of Magnesium Formate Dihydrate and Manganous Formate Dihydrate
TL;DR: Magnesium and manganous formate dihydrates crystallize in the space group P 2 1 / c, with the unit cell dimensions: as mentioned in this paper, where the number of unit cells is proportional to the density of the cells.
