TLDR
In this paper, the authors developed an ultrawide-band transition from a microstrip line to a double-sided parallel-strip line with 1-30 GHz bandwidth, which has an advantage of easy realization of low-impedance lines.
Abstract
Double-sided parallel-strip lines have been used as a balanced transmission line to feed double-sided printed antennas or to fabricate microwave components such as balanced mixers. In this paper, ultrawide-band transitions from microstrip line to double-sided parallel-strip line are developed with 1-30-GHz bandwidth. New microwave components using double-sided parallel-strip lines are designed with good measured results. The double-sided parallel-strip line has an advantage of easy realization of low-impedance lines, which are important for many component designs.

A Microstrip Ultra-Wideband Bandpass Filter With Cascaded Broadband Bandpass and Bandstop Filters

TL;DR: In this article, a novel ultra-wideband bandpass filter was proposed by cascading a broadband band-pass filter with another broadband bandstop filter. And the proposed filter is suitable for integration in the single-chipped circuit or implementation on printed circuit boards.

A Novel Ultra-Wideband Differential Filter Based on Double-Sided Parallel-Strip Line

TL;DR: In this paper, double-sided parallelstrip line (DSPSL) was used to build a novel differential filter with ultra- wideband (UWB) response, and swap structures, based on DSPSL, are employed in the design to realize 180° phase shift.

A Method of Analysis of Symmetrical Four-Port Networks

TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of four-arm symmetrical networks such as a branched directional double stub coupler or the hybrid ring (rat race) is presented, where the input wave is broken into an even and an odd mode and the vector amplitude out the various arms is computed from the sums or differences of the reflection or transmission coefficients for the two modes.
