TL;DR: Although many metallocorroles are significantly more easily oxidizable than analogous metalloporphyrins, certain beta-octahalogeno-meso-triarylcorrole derivatives can indeed be extremely electron deficient and oxidation resistant and may, therefore, find use as rugged catalysts or reagents under highly oxidizing conditions.
