Violations of lepton flavour and CP in supersymmetric unified theories

TLDR
In this paper, the flavour violating parameters of the low energy theory are derived in both SU(5) and SO(10) theories, and are used to calculate the rate for μ → eγ.

Out of this world supersymmetry breaking

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that supersymmetry breaking necessarily generates at one loop a scalar and gaugino mass as a consequence of the super-Weyl anomaly.

Theories with Gauge-Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking

TL;DR: Theoretically, these theories allow for a natural suppression of flavour violations in the supersymmetric sector and have very distinctive phenomenological features as discussed by the authors, and the experimental implications of these theories have been discussed.

Oscillating neutrinos and μ→ e, γ

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the prediction for BR(μ→e,γ) is in general larger than the experimental upper bound, especially if the largest Yakawa coupling is O (1) and the solar data are explained by a large angle MSW effect, which recent analyses suggest as the preferred scenario.

A complete analysis of FCNC and CP constraints in general SUSY extensions of the standard model

TL;DR: In this article, the full set of constraints on gluino and photino-mediated SUSY contributions to FCNC and CP violating phenomena are analyzed and a model-independent parameterization for the mass insertion method is provided.
Journal ArticleDOI

The muon g ― 2

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a review of the status of the theoretical prediction and in particular discuss the role of the hadronic vacuum polarization effects and hadronic light-by-light scattering correction, including a new evaluation of the dominant pion exchange contribution.

Unity of All Elementary Particle Forces

TL;DR: In this paper, strong, electromagnetic, and weak forces are conjectured to arise from a single fundamental interaction based on the gauge group SU(5), which is known as SU(4).

Softly Broken Supersymmetry and SU(5)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors construct an explicit realistic SU(5) model in which softly broken supersymmetry is used to protect the Higgs doublets from quadratic mass renormalization.

Locally Supersymmetric Grand Unification

TL;DR: In this paper, a locally supersymmetric grand unification program is proposed which couples the $N=1$ supergravity multiplet to an arbitrary grand unified gauge group with any number of left-handed chiral multiplets and a gauge vector multiplet.

Upper Bounds on Supersymmetric Particle Masses

TL;DR: In this paper, upper bounds on all superparticle masses as functions of the top quark mass are derived based on the "naturalness" criterion, which gives an objective criterion to test (or disprove) the idea of low energy supersymmetry, as implemented in supergravity models.

Supergravity as the messenger of supersymmetry breaking

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic study is made of theories in which supergravity is spontaneously broken in a ''hidden'' sector of superfields that interact with ordinary matter only through supergravity.
