This amplifier achieves a fractional bandwidth of 29% and 60 % at each band, and shows suitable performance for use in a high resolution radar system.
The bandwidth can be further improved by choosing the optimal amplifier length.

The results revealed oscillations (with almost perfect matching) that can be tuned within 1:10 bandwidth (1–10 MHz).
The developed PA thus provides attractive features related to efficiency, linearity, and extended bandwidth, which make this amplifier appropriate for implementations in various wireless communications systems.
It is concluded that this type of tuned SQUID amplifier is applicable to the IF (intermediate frequency) amplifier of the SIS (superconductor-insulator-semiconductor) receiver.

The performance of this electronically tuned filter is promising in terms of continuous center-frequency and bandwidth tunings.
The simpler impedance environment presented to the amplifier also results in increased amplifier tunability.
Particularly for the case of low-loss transmission line, the tuning bandwidth can be many times the tuned circuit's bandwidth, f(o)/Q.
Our results are compared to those of other authors, and we indicate how the model can be used to optimize the amplifier performance.
To the authors' knowledge, this is the highest proven bandwidth of a broadband amplifier in TS technology.
