Leadership Styles and Employees' Turnover Intention: Exploratory Study of Academic Staff in a Malaysian College
TL;DR: In this article, the authors conducted a study on the academic staff in a community college in Malaysia and found that transformational and transformational leadership styles are found to have negative relationship to employee turnover intention but the correlation of these two variables are not significant.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nutrient removal from aquaculture wastewater by vegetable production in aquaponics recirculation system
TL;DR: Water spinach was able to significantly reduce the total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite-N, nitrate-N and orthophosphate from aquaculture wastewater using water spinach and mustard green, compared to mustard green that removed the nutrients in the range of 69.0–75.0%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Harvesting microalgae, Chlorella sp. by bio-flocculation of Moringa oleifera seed derivatives from aquaculture wastewater phytoremediation
Siti Hajar Abdul Hamid,Fathurrahman Lananan,Wan Nur Sakinah Din,Su Shiung Lam,Helena Khatoon,Azizah Endut,Ahmad Jusoh +6 more
TL;DR: Utilization of M. oleifera derivatives as bio-coagulant provides several advantages such as lower impact on the environment, lower cost formicroalgae harvesting, allow rapid microalgae culture expansion and as chemical-free green technology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of multiple-criteria decision-making techniques and approaches to evaluating of service quality: a systematic review of the literature
TL;DR: The airline industry was ranked as the first application area, in which previous studies applied MCDM techniques for the evaluation of the service quality, and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy AHP methods, were ranked as first and second methods in use.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of flow rate on water quality parameters and plant growth of water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) in an aquaponic recirculating system
TL;DR: In this study, a prototype of an aquaponic system was built at the Freshwater Hatchery Unit on the University Malaysia Terengganu campus and consists of a fish culture tank, hydroponic trough, sump, sand filter and water holding tank.
