Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of o-sulfamidotriazobenzenes from 1,1'-sulfonylbis(benzotriazole).

TL;DR: 1-(Morpholine-4-sulfonyl)-1H-benzotriazole 3c reacts with piperidine, pyrolidine, and N-methylpiperazine under microwave irradiation at 120 degrees C for 10 min to give the unsymmetrical sulfamides 4a-c.
Journal ArticleDOI

1,3-Dipolar character of six-membered aromatic rings. Part I. 1-Methyl-3-oxidopyridinium

TL;DR: In this paper, the title compound reacts as a 1,3-dipole across the 2-and 6-positions with the dipolarophiles N-phenylmaleimide, acrylonitrile, methyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Substituent effects in tautomerism. Part I. Acyl- and sulphonylamidines

TL;DR: In this article, the structures of the cations of mobile and fixed forms of acyl-, benzoyl-, mesyl-, and tosyl-amidines are established by u.v. spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Trans-Selective Olefination of Carbonyl Compounds by Low-Valent Titanium-Mediated Dehydroxybenzotriazolylation

TL;DR: In this paper, N-(β-hydroxyalkyl)benzotriazole derivatives were treated with low-valent titanium to give alkenes 4a−m, dienes 7a−j, and triene 11a with selectivity for the trans isomers without separation of diastereoisomeric intermediates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses of 3-(substituted)-2,4,6-triphenylverdazyls

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 2,4,6-triphenylverdazyls substituted at the C(3) position of the heterocyclic ring were obtained using new convenient synthetic methodology.
