Journal ArticleDOI
N-oxides and related compounds. Part XL. Chemical and X-ray crystallographic investigation of the oxidation products of α-diketone bisacylhydrazones
Helmut Bauer,A. J. Boulton,Walter Fedeli,Alan R. Katritzky,A. Majid-Hamid,Fernando Mazza,A. Vaciago +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structure of 1-(α-benzoyloxybenzylideneamino)-4,5-dimethyl-1,2,3-triazole (10) was solved by direct methods and refined to R 0·094.
Journal ArticleDOI
An efficient conversion of carboxylic acids into Weinreb amides
TL;DR: In this article, an efficient conversion of carboxylic acids into Weinreb amides was achieved by treatment of N- acylbenzotriazoles 2a-i with N,O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride under mild conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Convenient, One-Pot Preparative Method for Tri- and Tetrasubstituted Hydrazines from Azobenzenes and Organolithiums
Journal ArticleDOI
The tautomeric equilibria of thio analogues of nucleic acid bases. Part 2. AM1 and ab initio calculations of 2-thiouracil and its methyl derivatives
TL;DR: The relative stabilities predicted by the AM1 method and relative energies from 3-21 G* and 6-31 G* calculations agree with qualitative and quantitative experimental vapour phase data for 2-thiouracil and for its four tautomeric monomethyl derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI
N-(α-Aminoalkyl)benzotriazoles: Novel “Nonstabilized” α-Aminocarbanion Synthons
TL;DR: In this paper, C−Benzotriazole bonds were selectively transformed to give the corresponding α-aminocarbanions when N-(α-aminoalkyl)benzotitriazoles were reacted with either Li/LiBr or SmI2 in the presence of representative electrophiles.
