Diffuse alveolar haemorrhage associated with subsequent development of ANCA positivity and emphysema in three young adults

TL;DR: Three cases presenting with recurrent pulmonary haemorrhage who, several years after first presentation, develop anti myeloperoxidase antibodies (MPO) positivity, emphysema on CT and, in one case, renal involvement, highlight a possible role played by autoimmune phenomena, even when DAH is initially diagnosed as “idiopathic”.

Chromosomal translocations involving BCL6 in MALT lymphoma.

TL;DR: Chromosomal translocations involving BCL6 were detected in 7 out of 392 cases of MALT lymphoma by interphase fluorescence in situ hybridisation with a BCL 6 break-apart probe, with the exception of BCL7 protein expression in 2 of the 7 cases.
