Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Mannosylated Glycodendrimers and Evaluation against BC2L-A Lectin from Burkholderia Cenocepacia.

TL;DR: Results show that a 24-valent structure binds to BC2L-A at nanomolar concentration, which makes this compound the highest affinity monodisperse ligand for this lectin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Linear and cyclic oligo-β-(1→6)-D-glucosamines: Synthesis, conformations, and applications for design of a vaccine and oligodentate glycoconjugates

TL;DR: Conformational studies by means of special NMR experiments and computer modeling revealed that the oligo-β-(1→6)-D-glucosamine chain exists mostly in a helix-like conformation, which provides a basis for the construction of a unique semisynthetic vaccine against multiple bacterial targets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective high-resolution DNP-enhanced NMR of biomolecular binding sites

TL;DR: In this paper, a site-directed approach based on localized paramagnetic relaxation enhancement induced by a ligand-functionalized paramagnetic construct combined with difference spectroscopy was proposed to recover high-resolution and high-sensitivity information from binding sites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lipopolysaccharides at the interface

TL;DR: A review of different approaches employed to investigate structural and biophysical properties of lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) can be found in this article , focusing on studies on Langmuir monolayers of LPS at the air/liquid interface and a range of supported LPS-containing model membranes reconstituted at solid/liquid interfaces.
