Abstract 1673: Conservation of copy number profiles during engraftment and passaging of patient-derived cancer xenografts
Xing Yi Woo,Jessica Giordano,Anuj Srivastava,Zi-Ming Zhao,Michael Lloyd,Roebi de Bruijn,Yun-Suhk Suh,Jong Il Kim,Han-Kwang Yang,Charles Kai-Wu Lee,Dennis A. Dean,Brandi N. Davis-Dusenbery,Yvonne A. TL;DR: It is found that a major contributor to the differences between PDX samples is lineage-specific drift associated with splitting of tumors into fragments during PDX propagation, which is consistent with the results on lineage effects during passaging, which indicate that intratumoral spatial evolution is the major reason for genetic drift.
Journal ArticleDOI
Jump–diffusion Markov processes on orthogonal groups for object pose estimation
TL;DR: In this paper, a Bayesian approach was proposed to estimate both the target orientations and their numbers simultaneously, where the unknown parameter is an element of the rotation group SO(3) k.
Proceedings Article
3D dynamic expression recognition based on a novel Deformation Vector Field and Random Forest
TL;DR: By applying LDA-based feature space transformation for dimensionality reduction which is followed by a Multi-class Random Forest learning algorithm, the proposed approach achieved 93% average recognition rate on BU-4DFE database and outperforms state-of-art approaches.
Journal ArticleDOI
An information-geometric framework for statistical inferences in the neural spike train space
Wei Wu,Anuj Srivastava +1 more
TL;DR: This work develops a parametrized family of metrics that takes into account different warpings in the time domain and generalizes several currently used spike train distances, and presents an efficient recursive algorithm to compute the sample mean of a set of spike trains with arbitrary numbers of spikes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Statistical hypothesis pruning for identifying faces from infrared images
Anuj Srivastava,Xiuwen Liu +1 more
TL;DR: A Bayesian approach to identify faces from their IR facial images amounts to testing of discrete hypotheses in presence of nuisance variables such as pose, facial expression, and thermal state using a parametric family introduced by Grenader and Srivastava.
