TL;DR: The present paper aims to describe the new capabilities of ABINIT that have been developed since 2009, which include new physical and technical features that allow electronic structure calculations impossible to carry out in the previous versions.
Journal ArticleDOI
SYSTEMATIC NON-LTE STUDY OF THE −2.6 ≤ [Fe/H] ≤ 0.2 F AND G DWARFS IN THE SOLAR NEIGHBORHOOD. II. ABUNDANCE PATTERNS FROM Li TO Eu
Gang Zhao,Lyudmila Mashonkina,Hong-Liang Yan,S. Alexeeva,Chiaki Kobayashi,Yu. V. Pakhomov,Jianrong Shi,Tatyana Sitnova,Kefeng Tan,H. W. Zhang,Juan Zhang,Ze-Ming Zhou,Michael Bolte,Yuqin Chen,X. X. Li,Fan Liu,Fan Liu,Meng Zhai +17 more
TL;DR: Zhao et al. as discussed by the authors performed a non-LTE study of the −2.6 „ [Fe/H] 0.2 F and G DWARFS in the SOLAR NEIGHBORHOOD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Systematic non-LTE study of the $-2.6 \le$ [Fe/H] $\le 0.2$ F and G dwarfs in the solar neighbourhood. II. Abundance patterns from Li to Eu
Gang Zhao,Lyudmila Mashonkina,Hong-Liang Yan,S. Alexeeva,Chiaki Kobayashi,Yu. V. Pakhomov,Jianrong Shi,Tatyana Sitnova,Kefeng Tan,H. W. Zhang,Juan Zhang,Ze-Ming Zhou,Michael Bolte,Yuqin Chen,X. X. Li,Fan Liu,Meng Zhai +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, an extensive study of stars with individual non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (NLTE) abundances for 17 chemical elements from Li to Eu in a sample of stars uniformly distributed over the $-2.24$ metallicity range that is suitable for the Galactic chemical evolution research is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Double—double radio galaxies: remnants of merged supermassive binary black holes
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the recently-discovered double-lobed FR II radio galaxies are the remnants of supermassive binary black holes, and that the detection rate of double lobed radio sources among FR I/FR II radio sources is about one per cent.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Hyades open cluster is chemically inhomogeneous
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a high-precision differential abundance analysis of 16 solar-type stars in the Hyades open cluster based on high resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio (S/N ~ 350 - 400) spectra obtained from the McDonald 2.7m telescope.
