Successful childbirth after intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection without assisted oocyte activation in a patient with globozoospermia
Nathalie Sermondade,E. Hafhouf,Charlotte Dupont,S. Bechoua,C. Palacios,Florence Eustache,Christophe Poncelet,Brigitte Benzacken,Rachel Levy,Christophe Sifer +9 more
TL;DR: A successful pregnancy and healthy childbirth obtained in a case of total globozoospermia after intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) without assisted oocyte activation (AOA), suggests that MSOME may be useful in cases of globozoopermia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regulatory identification of BPA as an endocrine disruptor: Context and methodology
Claire Beausoleil,Claude Emond,Jean-Pierre Cravedi,Jean-Philippe Antignac,Martine Applanat,Brice M. R. Appenzeller,Rémy Beaudouin,Luc P. Belzunces,Marie-Chantal Canivenc-Lavier,Nicolas Chevalier,Cécile Chevrier,Elisabeth Elefant,Florence Eustache,René Habert,Martine Kolf-Clauw,Brigitte Le Magueresse-Battistoni,Sakina Mhaouty-Kodja,Christophe Minier,Luc Multigner,Henri Schroeder,Patrick Thonneau,Catherine Viguié,François Pouzaud,Jean-Nicolas Ormsby,Christophe Rousselle,Lauranne Verines-Jouin,Elodie Pasquier,Cécile Michel +27 more
TL;DR: Four effects namely, alterations of estrous cyclicity, mammary gland development, brain development and memory function, and metabolism, were considered to provide solid evidence of ED-mediated effects of BPA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of Flow Cytometric Methods to Measure Human Sperm Concentration
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that human sperm concentration can be accurately assessed by the FC method combining gating on cell size, granularity, and DNA staining, which was effective for the full spectrum of sperm concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serum antimüllerian hormone is associated with the number of oocytes matured in vitro and with primordial follicle density in candidates for fertility preservation.
Nathalie Sermondade,Charlotte Sonigo,Christophe Sifer,Sophie Valtat,Marianne Ziol,Florence Eustache,Michael Grynberg +6 more
TL;DR: Serum AMH levels may reflect the primordial follicle stockpile and may predict outcomes of IVM and OTC when performed for FP, and further analyses are required to evaluate the relevance of performing such procedures in young women who have low values on ovarian reserve tests.
Journal ArticleDOI
Changes in total sperm count after gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy: the BARIASPERM prospective study
Claire Carette,Rachel Levy,Florence Eustache,Gabriel Baron,Gabriel Baron,Muriel Coupaye,Simon Msika,Christophe Barrat,Régis Cohen,Jean-Marc Catheline,Florence Brugnon,Karem Slim,Charles Barsamian,Jean-Marc Chevallier,M. Bretault,Jean-Luc Bouillot,Jean-Philippe Antignac,Claire Rives-Lange,Philippe Ravaud,Philippe Ravaud,Sébastien Czernichow +20 more
TL;DR: Improvement in some semen variables after bariatric surgery observed in 3 previous studies is in contrast to the lower mean total sperm count found in this study at 1 year.
