Uniform-sized PLGA–HSPC lipospheres as a biocompatible platform for controlled release of proteins and peptides

TL;DR: Chinese Acad Sci, Natl Key Lab Biochem Engn, PLA Key lab Biopharmaceut Prod & Formulat Engn and Inst Proc Engn are being used in research and development of new materials and methods for drug discovery and development.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyethylene glycol improves conjugation of bovine hemoglobin and human serum albumin in a controlled ratio

TL;DR: It was found that polyethylene glycol (PEG), a hydrophilic polymer, could improve the yield of Hb-HSA conjugate, and could be attributed to the “micro-compartment” created by addition of polyethylenes glycol, which brings HSA and Hb close together, thus increasing the chance of conjugation between the two molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of biomimetic hierarchical nanostructure in homopolymers and block copolymer ternary blend particles

TL;DR: In this article, a polymer blend particle consisting of poly(4-butyltriphenylamine) (PBTPA), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and PBTPA-block-PMMA was fabricated by a solvent evaporation method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chitosan particle-emulsion complex adjuvants: The effect of particle distribution on the immune intensity and response type.

TL;DR: In this paper , three types of particle-emulsion complex adjuvant formulations were designed with the combination of chitosan nanoparticles (CNP) and an o/w emulsion with squalene as the oil phase.
