Method for preparing polymer microsphere

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method of polymer microballoon sphere with uniform size, which can dissolve biodegradable polymer material in at least one organic solvent to form an O phase, and then adds the optional aqueous solution W1 containing medicine or medicine granule S into a fat phase O for emulsification to prepare colostrum; the obtained colrostrum is added into an outer water phase W containing stabilizing agent to form pre-compound emulsion; then, the precompound enulsion is pressed through a microporous film by pressure
Journal ArticleDOI

Detailed exploration of structure formation of an epoxy-based monolith with three-dimensional bicontinuous structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D bicontinuous skeleton of an epoxy-based monolith was constructed using a mixture of good and poor solvents, and the influences of reaction and phase separation parameters, such as molecular weights and content of porogenic poor and porogenic good solvent concentration, equivalent ratio of epoxy group to amine and reaction temperature on the final morphology were systematically studied by monitoring the reaction process with differential scanning calorimetry and observing the cloud points.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent research and development of local anesthetic-loaded microspheres

TL;DR: This review introduces the recent research and development in local anesthetic-loaded microspheres for future clinical applications, where for an efficient microsphere formulation, the most critical aspects are an optimum preparation method, a high loading efficiency, and an ideal release rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilized Triton X-100-assisted refolding of Green Fluorescent Protein-Tobacco Etch Virus protease fusion protein using β-cyclodextrin as the eluent

TL;DR: A new protein refolding technique based on the use of the non-charged detergent Triton X-100 immobilized to the cross-linked agarose gel Sepharose High Performance has been developed to refold recombinant Green Fluorescent Protein fused to Tobacco Etch Virus protease expressed as inclusion bodies in E. coli.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of solubilization of surfactant aggregates on pore structure in gigaporous polymeric particles

TL;DR: Gigaporous poly(styrene-divinylbenzene) microspheres with a pore size of about 500nm were prepared by a surfactant reverse micelles swelling method.
