Rapid purification of huperzine A and B with two polystyrene based resins by preparative low-pressure liquid chromatography
TL;DR: A rapid, facile, and environmentally friendly process was developed for purification of huperzine A and HupB from the Chinese traditional herb Huperzia serrata, employing a novel uniform polystyrene based porous microsphere named PST as the packing material.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Construction of an Aqueous Two-Phase System to Solve Weak-Aggregation of Gigaporous Poly(Styrene-Divinyl Benzene) Microspheres
TL;DR: A new method could significantly decrease the weak-aggregation of microspheres by constructing an aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) based on the method of emulsification, stirring speed, and surfactant concentration in oil phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapid and high-capacity loading of IgG monoclonal antibodies by polymer brush and peptides functionalized microspheres.
Dongxia Hao,Rongyue Zhang,Jia Ge,Peili Ye,Cui Song,Kai Zhu,Xiangming Na,Yongdong Huang,Lan Zhao,Weiqing Zhou,Zhiguo Su,Guanghui Ma +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the peptide ligand was coupled on a liner PGMA polymer brushes grafted on microspheres, which provided excellent permeability and high capacity to rapid loading hIgG by maintaining a stable level of dynamic binding capacity at fast flow rate above 110 column volume per hour (cv/h).
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of titanium dioxide microcapsules as a photo-oxidation catalyst for decolourization of methylene blue.
TL;DR: The performance of anatase type titanium dioxide encapsulated with styrenic copolymers via the solvent evaporation or suspension polymerization process was investigated as a photocatalyst for the decolourization of methylene blue in the aqueous phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
In situ magnetization technique for synthesis of magnetic polymer microspheres
TL;DR: In this paper, a new process was developed for synthesis of magnetic polymer microspheres which can be used as hyperthermia carrier for cancer therapy, and the magnetic nanoparticles were successfully prepared by in situ formation technique of magnetite combination with double emulsion method.
