Bottom-Up Synthesis of MeSx Nanodots for Optoelectronic Device Applications
TL;DR: In this article, the optical band gap of WSx and MoSx nanodots is 3.55 and 3.1 eV, respectively, and they show their strongest photoluminescence (PL) emission at 438 and 436 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recent developments in voltammetric and amperometric sensors for cysteine detection
Somayeh Tajik,Zahra Dourandish,Peyman Mohammadzadeh Jahani,Iran Sheikhshoaie,Hadi Beitollahi,Mehdi Shahedi Asl,Ho Won Jang,Mohammadreza Shokouhimehr +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide an overview of the recent advances in the voltammetric and amperometric sensing of cysteine (Cys), and discuss the current challenges of Cys determination and the future perspectives.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile synthesis of CsPbBr3/PbSe composite clusters.
Thang Phan Nguyen,Abdullah Ozturk,Jongee Park,Woonbae Sohn,Tae Hyung Lee,Ho Won Jang,Soo Young Kim +6 more
TL;DR: Transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy confirmed that the atomic distribution in CsPbBr3/PbSe composite clusters is uniform and the composite materials were well formed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photoelectrochemical hydrogen production at neutral pH phosphate buffer solution using TiO2 passivated InAs Nanowire/p-Si heterostructure photocathode
Seokhoon Choi,Jeongwoo Hwang,Tae Hyung Lee,Hyung Ho Kim,Seung-Pyo Hong,Changyeon Kim,Min-Ju Choi,Hoonkee Park,Swetha S. M. Bhat,Jun Min Suh,Jongwon Lee,Kyoung Soon Choi,Seong-Hyeon Hong,Jae Cheol Shin,Ho Won Jang +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the integration of InAs nanowires (NWs) and p-Si via a catalyst-free nanowire growth method, and precisely analyze the heterojunction band diagram of the Pt/TiO2/InAs NWs/p-Si photocathode.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel TiC-based composite co-strengthened with AlN particulates and graphene nano-platelets
Van-Huy Nguyen,Seyed Ali Delbari,Mehdi Shahedi Asl,Quyet Van Le,Ho Won Jang,Mohammadreza Shokouhimehr,Mohsen Mohammadi,Abbas Sabahi Namini +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a fully dense TiC-based composites were produced by spark plasma sintering at 1900°C with introducing AlN and graphene nano-platelets (GNPs) additives to the TiC matrix.
