Semi-preparative separation of polyhydroxylated sterols using a β-cyclodextrin high-performance liquid chromatography column

TL;DR: A series of closely related polyoxygenated sterols from the sponge Dysidea etheria was resolved by high-performance liquid chromatography on a β-cyclodextrin column, a stationary phase apparently not used previously for the preparative separation of natural products as mentioned in this paper.

Bissetone, a unique antimicrobial pyranone from the gorgonian
