Walter,Peter Westervelt,Daniel C. Link,John F. DiPersio,Timothy J. Ley +38 more
TL;DR: Patients with AML and MDS who had cytogenetic abnormalities associated with unfavorable risk, TP53 mutations, or both had favorable clinical responses and robust (but incomplete) mutation clearance after receiving serial 10-day courses of decitabine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cellular stressors contribute to the expansion of hematopoietic clones of varying leukemic potential.
Terrence N. Wong,Christopher A. Miller,Matthew Rm Jotte,Nusayba Bagegni,Jack Baty,Amy P. Schmidt,Amanda F. Cashen,Eric J. Duncavage,Nichole M. Helton,Mark A. Fiala,Robert S. TL;DR: The impact of cytotoxic therapy and hematopoietic transplantation on clonal expansion is explored, suggesting different stressors can promote expansion of distinct long-lived clones, carrying specific mutations, whose leukemic potential depends partially on the mutations they harbor.
Journal ArticleDOI
