TL;DR: In this article, the first 447 patients enrolled in a national FMD registry from 9 US sites were reviewed for clinical features, presenting symptoms, and vascular events, and the most common presenting symptoms of the disease were hypertension, headache, and pulsatile tinnitus.

Pathology of fatal perioperative myocardial infarction: implications regarding pathophysiology and prevention

TL;DR: Predicting the site of infarction based on severity of underlying stenosis would have been unsuccessful in more than half the patients in both perioperative and nonoperative MI groups, and the severity of preexisting underlying stenotic did not predict the resulting infarct territory.
