Observation of Anomalous Internal Pair Creation in Be 8 : A Possible Indication of a Light, Neutral Boson
A. Krasznahorkay,M. Csatlós,L. Csige,Z. Gácsi,J. Gulyás,M.D. Hunyadi,István Kuti,B. M. Nyakó,L. Stuhl,J. Timár,Tamas Gabor Tornyi,Zs. Vajta,T.J. Ketel,A. Krasznahorkay +13 more
TL;DR: Significant enhancement relative to the internal pair creation was observed at large angles in the angular correlation for the isoscalar transition with a confidence level of >5σ, which could possibly be due to nuclear reaction interference effects or indicate that, in an intermediate step, a neutral isosCalar particle was created.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of large volume 3.5″×8″ LaBr3:Ce detectors
Agnese Giaz,Luna Pellegri,Stefano Riboldi,F. Camera,N. Blasi,C. Boiano,A. Bracco,S. Brambilla,S. Ceruti,S. Coelli,F. C. L. Crespi,M. Csatlós,S Frega,J. Gulyás,A. Krasznahorkay,Stefano Lodetti,B. Million,Alan Owens,Francesco Quarati,L. Stuhl,Oliver Wieland +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of large volume cylindrical 3.5″×8″ (89mm×203mm) LaBr 3 :Ce scintillation detectors coupled to the Hamamatsu R10233-100SEL photo-multiplier tube were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tako,Yasuhiro Togano,Yasuhiro Togano,Hiroshi Tokieda,J. Tsubota,Tomohiro Uesaka,Tomotsugu Wakasa,Kentaro Yako,K. Yoneda,Juzo Zenihiro +61 more
TL;DR: The present result accurately constrains the Landau-Migdal parameter as g^{'}=0.68±0.07, which shows the constancy of this parameter in the nuclear chart region with (N-Z)/A= 0.11 to 0.24.

TL;DR: In this article, a kinematically complete quasifree (p,pn) experiment in inverse kinematics was performed to study the structure of the Borromean nucleus, which had long been considered to have a neutron halo.

Stuhl,Toshiyuki Sumikama,Y. L. Sun,M. Tabata,Yasuhiro Togano,J. Tsubota,Zaihong Yang,J. Yasuda,K. Yoneda,Juzo Zenihiro,Tomohiro Uesaka +67 more
TL;DR: The formation of a dineutron in the ^{11}Li nucleus is found to be localized to the surface region, and the correlation angle between the two neutrons is, for the first time, measured as a function of the intrinsic neutron momentum.
