Journal ArticleDOI
Long Exciton Dephasing Time and Coherent Phonon Coupling in CsPbBr2Cl Perovskite Nanocrystals.
Michael Becker,Michael Becker,Lorenzo Scarpelli,Georgian Nedelcu,Georgian Nedelcu,Gabriele Rainò,Gabriele Rainò,Francesco Masia,Paola Borri,Thilo Stöferle,Maksym V. Kovalenko,Maksym V. Kovalenko,Wolfgang Werner Langbein,Rainer F. Mahrt +13 more
TL;DR: Measurements of the coherent and incoherent exciton dynamics on the 100 fs to 10 ns time scale are reported, determining dephasing and density decay rates in these NCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coherence and Density Dynamics of Excitons in a Single-Layer MoS2 Reaching the Homogeneous Limit
Tomasz Jakubczyk,Goutham Nayak,Lorenzo Scarpelli,Wei-Lai Liu,Sudipta Dubey,Nedjma Bendiab,Laëtitia Marty,Takashi Taniguchi,Kenji Watanabe,Francesco Masia,Gilles Nogues,Johann Coraux,Wolfgang Werner Langbein,Julien Renard,Vincent Bouchiat,Jacek Kasprzak +15 more
TL;DR: It is found that the exciton dynamics is governed by microscopic disorder on top of the ideal crystal properties, which provides stable monolayer samples with low disorder, avoiding surface contaminations and the resulting exciton broadening and modifications of the dynamics.
Journal ArticleDOI
99% beta factor and directional coupling of quantum dots to fast light in photonic crystal waveguides determined by spectral imaging
Lorenzo Scarpelli,Ben Lang,Francesco Masia,Daryl M. Beggs,Egor A. Muljarov,Andrew B Young,Ruth Oulton,Martin Kamp,Sven Höfling,C. Schneider,Wolfgang Werner Langbein +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the directional emission of the circularly polarized transitions in a magnetic field into counter-propagating guided modes, to deduce the mode circularity at the quantum dot sites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resonantly excited exciton dynamics in two-dimensional MoSe2 monolayers
Lorenzo Scarpelli,Francesco Masia,Evgeny M. Alexeev,Freddie Withers,Alexander I. Tartakovskii,K. S. Novoselov,Wolfgang Werner Langbein +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the exciton and trion density dynamics in a single layer of MoSe2, resonantly excited and probed using three-pulse four-wave mixing (FWM), at temperatures from 300 K to 77 K were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fine Structure of Nearly Isotropic Bright Excitons in InP/ZnSe Colloidal Quantum Dots
Annalisa Brodu,Vigneshwaran Chandrasekaran,Lorenzo Scarpelli,Jonathan Buhot,Francesco Masia,Mariana V. Ballottin,Marion Severijnen,Mickael D. Tessier,Dorian Dupont,Freddy T. Rabouw,Peter C. M. Christianen,Celso de Mello Donegá,Daniel Vanmaekelbergh,Wolfgang Werner Langbein,Zeger Hens +14 more
TL;DR: It is argued that excitons in InP-based QDs are nearly isotropic because the particular ratio of light and heavy hole masses in In P makes the exciton fine structure insensitive to shape anisotropy.
