Absolute configuration of 8-O-4′-neolignans from Myristica fragrans

TL;DR: In this paper, the absolute configuration of the MTPA ester of erythro -(7 R, 8 R )-Δ 8-4-acetoxy-7-hydroxy-3,3′,5′-trimethoxy-8- O -4′-neolignan was determined by the application of Mosher's ( 1 H) method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Character impact odorants from wild mushroom (Lactarius hatsudake) used in Japanese traditional food

TL;DR: The components of the volatile oil from wild mushroom (Lactarius hatsudake), used in Japanese traditional food, were analyzed and quantified for the first time by capillary GC and GC-MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Biological Activity of α-Methylene-γ-lactones as New Aroma Chemicals

TL;DR: The results showed the α-methylene-γ-lactones inhibited the growth of three bacteria and two fungi and suppressed the SOS-inducing activity of three mutagens, furylfuramide, UV irradiation, and Trp-P-1, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of Volatile Components and Odor-active Compounds in the Oil of Edible Mushroom Boletopsis leucomelas

TL;DR: The volatile oil from Boletopsis leucomelas (Pers.) Fayod was extracted by hydrodistillation with diethylether, and the volatile components of the oil were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for mushroom-like, fatty, and burnt odor.
