Drug Resistance Classification of Cancer Cells Based on Digital Holographic Flow Cytometry and Machine Learning
Lu Xin,Wen Xiao,Leiping Che,JinJin Liu,Lisa Miccio,Vittorio Bianco,Pasquale Memmolo,Pietro Ferraro,Xiaoping Li,Feng Pan +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a digital holographic (DH) microscope coupled with a label-free and high-throughput microfluidic cytometer to automatically detect the drug resistance of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer (EOC) cells reinforced by machine learning.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Custom field-of-view optofluidic imaging by synthetic digital holography
TL;DR: Space-Time Scanning Interferometry (STSI) as discussed by the authors exploits object scanning to synthesize interferograms mapped in a hybrid space-time domain, which can capture data from a multitude of flowing samples and to process the corresponding information in a single operation, thus avoiding hologram stitching.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Quantitative evaluation of nanoparticles internalization in living cells by holographic microscopy
Daniel Pirone,Martina Mugnano,Pasquale Memmolo,Francesco Merola,Giuseppe Cesare Lama,Rachele Castaldo,Lisa Miccio,Vittorio Bianco,Simonetta Grilli,Pietro Ferraro +9 more
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A new algorithm for digital holograms denoising based on compressed sensing
Pasquale Memmolo,Inaki Esnaola,Andrea Finizio,Melania Paturzo,Pietro Ferraro,Antonia M. Tulino +5 more
TL;DR: A new denoising algorithm in off-axis Digital Holography (DH) based on l1 norm minimization is proposed, which uses the inherent sparsity of the numerical reconstruction of digital holograms in order to optimize the in-focus digital reconstructions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical spatial image processor based on aliasing of pseudo-periodic sampling
TL;DR: This paper presents a new configuration for a real-time spatial image processor that is based upon a spatially incoherent imaging setup in which a grating is attached to the object plane and realizes a tunable spectral distribution that is applied over the spectrum of the object.
