Heavy Doping and Band Engineering by Potassium to Improve the Thermoelectric Figure of Merit in p-Type PbTe, PbSe, and PbTe[subscript 1– y]Se[subscript y]
Qian Zhang,Feng Cao,Weishu Liu,Kevin Lukas,Bo Yu,Shuo Chen,Cyril Opeil,David Broido,Gang Chen,Zhifeng Ren +9 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymptotic bias of normal-distribution-based maximum likelihood estimates of moderation effects with data missing at random
TL;DR: Analytical results suggest that researchers should apply NML to MMR models with caution when missing data exist, and show that when the moderation effect is zero, there is no asymptotic bias in moderation effect estimates with either normal or non-normal data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Habitual rapid food intake and ineffective esophageal motility
Kongling Li,Ji-Hong Chen,Qian Zhang,Jan D. Huizinga,Shawn Vadakepeedika,Yu-Rong Zhao,Wen-Zhen Yu,He-Sheng Luo +7 more
TL;DR: One NCCP patient who self-reported fast eating and was subsequently diagnosed with IEM did not improve with proton-pump inhibition but restored swallow-induced contractions upon 6-mo gum-chewing, which might strengthen weakened esophageal muscles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Salt tolerance and stress level affect plant biomass-density relationships and neighbor effects
TL;DR: The hypothesis that differences in biomass–density relationships among species are not due to differences in stress tolerance alone, they are mediated by changes in plant–plant interactions is supported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Martensite colony engineering: a novel solution to realize the high ductility in full martensitic 3D-printed Ti alloys
Zhi Gang Yao,Tao Yang,Xueying Jia,Chengle J. Wang,Jinxin Yu,Zhou Li,Hao Han,Weihong Liu,Guoqiang Xie,Shuiyuan Yang,Qian Zhang,Cuiping Wang,Shuai Wang,Xingjun Liu +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , additively manufactured (AM) full martensitic titanium alloys (hexagonal-close-packed α' phase) exhibits high yield strength (>1GPa) but poor elongation to failure (<8% usually).
