Experimental investigations on overall cooling effect of ribbed channel with air bleeds

TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental investigation on overall heat transfer performance of a rectangular channel, in which one wall has periodically placed oblique ribs to enhance heat exchange and cylindrical film holes to bleed cooling air, has been carried out in a hot wind tunnel at different mainstream temperatures, hot mainstream Reynolds numbers, coolant Reynolds numbers and blowing ratios.
Journal Article

Differences in the population of genetics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis between urban migrants and local residents in Beijing, China.

TL;DR: The clone of modern Beijing lineage M. tuberculosis, which is dominant in the Beijing area, most likely started to expand with the five thousand‐year‐old Chinese civilization and may gain the larger geographical spread with the urbanization in the whole of China.

Spectroscopic evidence for two-gap superconductivity in the quasi-one dimensional chalcogenide Nb$_{2}$Pd$_{0.81}$S$_{5}$

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the first direct evidence for two-band superconductivity in the quasi-one dimensional chalcogenide Nb$_{2}$Pd$_{0.81}$S$5}.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alkaline phosphatase triggered ratiometric fluorescence immunoassay for detection of zearalenone

TL;DR: InspInspired by the super-binding capacity of pyrophosphate (ppi) and copper ion (Cu2+), an alkaline phosphatase (ALP) triggered ratiometric fluorescence immunoassay was established for detection of zearalenone (ZEN) as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a pyrF -based counterselectable system for targeted gene deletion in Streptomyces rimosus

TL;DR: In this article, a screening system for targeted gene knockout using a uracil auxotrophic host (ΔpyrF) resistant to the highly toxic uracilic analog of 5-fluoroorotic acid (5-FOA) converted by PyrF, and a non-replicative vector pKC1132-pyrf carrying the complemented pyrF gene coding for orotidine-5'-phosphate decarboxylase was developed.
