Journal ArticleDOI

Diffuse malignant peritoneal mesothelioma: Evaluation of systemic chemotherapy with comprehensive treatment through the RENAPE Database: Multi-Institutional Retrospective Study

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the impact of perioperative systemic chemotherapy strategies on survival and postoperative outcomes in patients with DMPM treated with curative intent with CRS-HIPEC, using a multi-institutional database: the French RENAPE network.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new internet tool to report peritoneal malignancy extent. PeRitOneal MalIgnancy Stage Evaluation (PROMISE) application

Laurent Villeneuve, +92 more
- 01 Jun 2016 -
TL;DR: This application offers computer-assistance to produce simple, quick but precise and standardized pre, intra and postoperative reports of the extent of peritoneal metastases and may help specialized and non-specialized institutions in their current practice but also facilitate research and multicentre studies on peritoneAL surface malignancies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immunohistochemical evaluation of two antibodies against PD-L1 and prognostic significance of PD-L1 expression in epithelioid peritoneal malignant mesothelioma: A RENAPE study.

S. Valmary-Degano, +97 more
- 01 Oct 2017 -
TL;DR: PD-L1 expression by immune cells evaluated with E1L3N was an independent prognostic factor in EPMM and Cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy predicted better prognosis than other treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hepatectomy increases metastatic graft and growth in an immunocompetent murine model of peritoneal metastases.

TL;DR: Peritoneal resection should be first step in the case of two-step liver and peritoneal surgery for patients with colorectal PM and LM, and this animal model confirms the pro-tumoural and pro-angiogenic role of surgery, laparotomy and major LR, which promotes the increase of angiogenic factors and their participation in PM growth.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ovarian and peritoneal psammocarcinoma: Results of a multicenter study on 25 patients.

Jean-Baptiste Delhorme, +100 more
- 01 May 2020 -
TL;DR: Complete cytoreductive surgery is the cornerstone of the PK's management as a primary treatment and was associated with a better OS and DFS in a univariate analysis.
