A Novel Vertical Alignment Display

TL;DR: In this paper, a new vertical alignment display driven by fringe field with initially biased surface boundary condition on one side of substrate is presented, which exhibits interesting molecular dynamics depending on biased state when the voltage is applied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of High Tolerant Pixel Structure Due to Mispatterning of Electrodes for the Fringe-Field Switching Liquid Crystal Display

TL;DR: In this paper, a correlation between the size of electrode pattern and voltage-dependent transmittance (V-T) has been carried out to get an optimized size of the electrode pattern in order to minimize the non-uniformity in the transmittances.
Journal Article

Synthesis and Characterization of Palladium and Platinum Complexes of N,N'-Bis[2'-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]propane-1,3-diamine. Single-Crystal Structures of $[Pd(Ph_2PC_6H_4NC_3H_6NC_6H_4PPh_2)]$ and $[Pt(Ph_2PC_6H_4NH)(SEt_2)Cl]$

TL;DR: In this article, the X-ray single crystal diffraction analyses reveal that compound 1 is a mononuclear palladium compound with P,N,N-N,P-coordination mode and compound 4 is a polycyclic polysilicon (polysilicon) compound with N,N'-bis[2'-diphenylphosphinophenyl)-4-amino-1,1, 1, 5,5, 5-hexafluoro-3-penten-2-one.
Journal ArticleDOI

P‐128: Viewing Angle Switching of Liquid Crystal Displays Driven by Fringe Field Switching

TL;DR: In this paper, a pixel structure of viewing angle switchable liquid crystal display associated with fringe-field switching (FFS) mode using one panel is proposed, where one pixel is composed of main and sub-pixel, in which both pixels are formed to generate fringe electric field.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Study on Variables Affecting Shoplifting Fashion Items

TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to identify shoplifting items and assess consumers' attitudes toward shoplifting, and to determine the variables to effect shoplifting three hundred ninety-eight respondents of high school students were used for data analysis Descriptive statistics, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were used Results indicated 178% of the respondents experienced fashion item shoplifting in the last 3 years.
