Low-temperature thermodynamics of one-dimensional alternating-spin Heisenberg ferromagnets
Shoji Yamamoto,Hiromitsu Hori +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated thermodynamic properties of one-dimensional spin Heisenberg ferromagnets both numerically and analytically and revealed an analogy and a contrast between mixed-spin ferromagnetic and ferrimagnets.

TL;DR: In this paper, the behavior of high-energy ions created by ion cyclotron range of frequency (ICRF) heating on the Large Helical Device (LHD) was investigated in the minority heating regime using turnoff or modulation of ICRF power.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pressure-induced phase transitions of halogen-bridged binuclear metal complexes R 4 [ Pt 2 ( P 2 O 5 H 2 ) 4 X ] ⋅ n H 2 O
TL;DR: In this article, it is demonstrated that increasing pressure transforms the initial charge-polarization state into a charge-density-wave state at high temperatures, whereas the charge density wave state oppositely declines with increasing pressure at low temperatures.

TL;DR: In this article, the upward-going muon flux induced by neutrinos from active galactic nuclei is expected to exceed the flux due to atmospheric neutrinuclear sources, and a search for this astrophysical neutrino flux is performed by looking for upwardgoing muons in the highest energy data sample from the Super-Kamiokande detector using 1679.6 live days of data.

A study on the TAE-induced fast-ion loss process in LHD
TL;DR: In this paper, a scintillator-based lost-fast ion probe is used, and an increment of fast-ion loss flux due to TAEs from the neoclassical orbit loss level (ΔΓfast ion) is measured.
