The Terminations 1 and 2 as revealed by the record of stable isotopes from the EDML ice core
Hans Oerter,Hanno Meyer,Heinrich Miller,Sigfus J Johnsen,Jean Jouzel,Valerie Masson-Delmotte,Barbara Stenni +6 more
TL;DR: Stenni et al. as discussed by the authors measured stable isotope (18O, D) with depth resolutions of 0.5m and 0.05m and calculated the deuterium excess values were calculated.

Two modes of glacial climate during the late stage 5 identified in Greenland ice core records
Marie-Louise Siggaard-Andersen,Marie-Louise Siggaard-Andersen,Peter D. Ditlevsen,A. Walloe Hansen,Sigfus J Johnsen +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed analysis of marine and terrestrial aerosol tracers in the NGRIP ice core was performed to identify two distinct glacial atmospheric flow patterns, and the changes in atmospheric flow pattern were correlated with changed extent of ice-rafted detritus (IRD) deposition in the North Atlantic, indicating that the state of the atmospheric flow was highly sensitive to the waxing and waning of the Laurentide ice sheet.
