Palladium‐Catalyzed Coupling of Terminal Alkynes to the Free cis‐Diol Metabolite Produced from the Oxidation of Bromobenzene by Pseudomonas putida: Synthesis of New Homochiral 3‐Alkynyl cis‐Cyclohexa‐3,5‐diene‐ 1,2‐diols.

TL;DR: The free cis-diol metabolite produced from the oxidation of bromobenzene by Pseudomonas putida underwent a Pd(0)-catalyzed coupling with trimethylsilyl acetylene, phenylacetylene and 1-hexyne providing the novel homochiral (1 S, 2 R )-3-alkynyl cis -cyclohexa-3,5-diene-1,2-Diols 2−4 in good to excellent yields as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 1,2‐ and 1,4‐Amino Alcohols from 1,3‐Dienes via Oxazines. Rearrangements of 1,4‐Amino Alcohol Derivatives to Oxazolines.

TL;DR: In this article, 1,2-oxazines were converted to 1,4-N-acetylamino alcohols, which were rearranged to the corresponding oxazolines upon treatment with methanesulfonyl chloride or anhydride.
Patent

Syntheses de d-chiro-3-inosose et (+)-d-chiro-inositol

TL;DR: In this article, a nouveaux procedes biocatalytiques et chimiques destines a synthese de divers composes oxygenes, e.g., Diol protege (acetonide) avec du permanganate dans des conditions appropriees.
