Structural approaches to modeling the impact of climate change and adaptation technologies on crop yields and food security

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a case study that follows this methodology, explicitly modeling drought and heat tolerant crop varieties, and show that yield gains from adoption of these varieties differ by technology and region, but are generally comparable in scale to (and thus able to offset) adverse effects of climate change.

The adoption of the Eurepgap Standard by Mango Exporters in Piura, Peru

TL;DR: In this paper, a case study for the mango export sector in Piura, Peru, analyzes the adoption of the Eurepgap standard, based on a theoretical framework of a compliance process of three stages (information stage, decision stage, implementation stage).
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulating cultivar variations in potato yields for contrasting environments

TL;DR: In this article, the SUBSTOR potato model was used in a systematic assessment of all cultivar parameters in the model in a range of environments including temperate, subtropical, and tropical regions to identify options for future crop improvement and to develop strategies for climate change adaptation in potato production.
