Effects of two-photon absorption on all optical logic operation based on quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifiers
Xiang Zhang,Niloy K. Dutta +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, all-optical logic operation in quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifier (QD-SOA) based Mach-Zehnder interferometer considering the effects of two-photon absorption (TPA) occu...

Continuously elevated serum matrix metalloproteinase-3 for 3 ~ 6 months predict one-year radiographic progression in rheumatoid arthritis: a prospective cohort study
Jian-Da Ma,Xiu-Ning Wei,Dong-Hui Zheng,Ying-Qian Mo,Le-Feng Chen,Xiang Zhang,Jing-Hua Li,Lie Dai +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted to monitor dynamic core disease activity indicators and serum MMP-3 for one year and evaluate their value for predicting radiographic progression, and the results showed that continuously elevated serum mmp-3 at 0, 1st, 3rd, 6th and 6th months, compared with normal c-reactive protein (CRP) at the 1st month, were significant predictors for one-year rheumatoid arthritis (RA) progression.

Parameterized Explainer for Graph Neural Network
TL;DR: PGExplainer as mentioned in this paper adopts a deep neural network to parameterize the generation process of explanations, which enables PGExplainer a natural approach to explaining multiple instances collectively, which can be utilized in an inductive setting easily.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single-photon test of hyper-complex quantum theories using a metamaterial.
Lorenzo M. Procopio,Lee A. Rozema,Zi Jing Wong,Deny R. Hamel,Deny R. Hamel,Kevin O'Brien,Kevin O'Brien,Xiang Zhang,Xiang Zhang,Borivoje Dakić,Borivoje Dakić,Philip Walther +11 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the metamaterial phase commutes with other phases with high precision, allowing us to place limits on a particular prediction of hyper-complex quantum theories.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical Möbius symmetry in metamaterials.
Chih-Wei Chang,Ming Liu,Sunghyun Nam,Shuang Zhang,Yongmin Liu,Guy Bartal,Xiang Zhang,Xiang Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that metamaterials with different coupling signs exhibit resonance frequencies that depend only on the number but not the locations of the "twists," thus confirming its topological nature.
