Journal ArticleDOI

Elastic carbon nanotube straight yarns embedded with helical loops.

TL;DR: The results indicate that conventional straight CNT yarns could be used as fiber-shaped strain sensors by simple structural modification and converted into a highly elastic structure by spinning a predefined number of helical loops along the yarn.
Journal ArticleDOI

Second-Order Nonlinear Optical Dendrimers and Dendronized Hyperbranched Polymers.

TL;DR: These selected works could provide valuable information to deeply understand the relationship between the structure and properties of functional polymers with dendritic structures, but not only limited to the NLO ones, and might contribute much to the further development of functionalpolymers with rational design.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dendronized Polyfluorenes with High Azo-Chromophore Loading Density: Convenient Synthesis and Enhanced Second-Order Nonlinear Optical Effects

TL;DR: In this article, two dendronized nonlinear optical polyfluorenes were synthesized with high azo-chromophore loading density by the introduction of high generation chromophore dendrons on the side chains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hyperbranched poly(ferrocenylphenylenes) : Synthesis, characterization, redox activity, metal complexation, pyrolytic ceramization, and soft ferromagnetism

TL;DR: In this article, a copolycyclotrimerization of (E,E)-1, 1, 1'bis[2-(4-ethynylphenyl)vinyl]ferrocene was used to synthesize hyperbranched poly(ferrocenyl phenylenes) (hb-PFPs) with high molecular weights.
