Colorimetric hypochlorite detection using an azobenzene acid in pure aqueous solutions and real application in tap water

TL;DR: In this paper, a colorimetric azobenzene based chemosensor was designed for the detection of hypochlorite by fully utilizing the oxidation property of hypochemicals and different coordinating properties of Cu+ and Cu2+ in pure aqueous solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of nanocomposites based on semi-interpenetrating network of [l-poly (ε-caprolactone)]/[net-poly (ε-caprolactone)] and hydroxyapatite nanocrystals☆

TL;DR: The semi-interpenetrating network (semi-IPN) technique was used for the first time to prepare bone implant composites containing hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanocrystals.
Journal ArticleDOI

A transgenic zebrafish liver tumor model with inducible Myc expression reveals conserved Myc signatures with mammalian liver tumors.

TL;DR: The zebrafish model demonstrated the conserved role of Myc in promoting hepatocarcinogenesis in all vertebrate species and found that a small Myc target gene set of 16 genes could be used to identify liver tumors due to Myc upregulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Large area, highly transparent carbon nanotube spiderwebs for energy harvesting

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors synthesize large-area (100 cm2) spiderwebs consisting of interconnected single-walled nanotubes by floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition and a solvent-induced condensation process.
Journal ArticleDOI

New hyperbranched polytriazoles containing isolation chromophore moieties derived from AB4 monomers through click chemistry under copper(I) catalysis: improved optical transparency and enhanced NLO effects.

TL;DR: By modifying a synthetic procedure, two new hyperbranched polytriazoles (HP1 and HP2) containing isolation chromophores were synthesized successfully through click chemistry reactions under copper(I) catalysis, for the first time, these two polymers were derived from an AB(4)-type monomer.
