Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray investigation of CdSe nanowires

TL;DR: In this article, X-ray powder diffraction has been performed to provide an admixture of wurtzite and zinc-blende (ZB) structure units separated by different types of stacking faults.
Journal ArticleDOI

New D–π–A organic dyes containing a tert-butyl-capped indolo[3,2,1-jk]carbazole donor with bithiophene unit as π-linker for dye-sensitized solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, two new organic dyes containing a tert-butyl-capped indolo[3,2,1-jk] carbazole unit as a donor, bithiophene unit as π-linker and cyanoacrylic acid as an acceptor (CL-10 and CL-11) have been designed and synthesized for dye-sensitized solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Theoretical Studies of Chromophore Maturation in the Wild-Type Green Fluorescent Protein: ONIOM(DFT:MM) Investigation of the Mechanism of Cyclization

TL;DR: The two possible mechanisms with inclusion of protein environmental effects by using molecular dynamics (MD) and combined quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) calculations reveal no hydrogen bonding network that would facilitate deprotonation of the amide nitrogen of Gly67, although it is the lower energy pathway in the cluster model system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Abundant climatic information in water stable isotope record from a maritime glacier on southeastern Tibetan Plateau

TL;DR: In this paper, a newly drilled Zuoqiupu ice core from a temperate maritime glacier on the southeastern Tibetan Plateau covering 1942-2011 is investigated in terms of the relationships between δ18O and climate parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fast RAFT aqueous polymerization in a continuous tubular reactor: consecutive synthesis of a double hydrophilic block copolymer

TL;DR: In this paper, double hydrophilic diblock copolymer poly(3-sulfopropyl methacrylate potassium salt)-b-poly(poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methACrylate) (PSPMA-b-PPEGMA) was successfully synthesized via a fast reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization at 70 °C in a continuous tubular reactor in water without handling the intermediate macro-RAFT agent.
