TL;DR: The main purpose of this study was to propose a vague set based FMEA method to recover those drawbacks as well as to evaluate and continuously improve risk of safety-related systems under vague and uncertain environment.
Abstract: Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is a structured method used to prioritize all possible vulnerable areas (failure modes) and address critical failure modes in a safety-related system. However, traditional FMEA method employed during risk evaluation has some critical drawbacks. Thus the main purpose of this study was to propose a vague set based FMEA method to recover those drawbacks as well as to evaluate and continuously improve risk of safety-related systems under vague and uncertain environment. The proposed method can contribute to address weaknesses of traditional FMEA method and provide a more reasonable representation of the real world problems under vague and uncertain environment. Besides, the proposed FMEA method can contribute to evaluate, prioritize and correct a safety-related system's individual failure modes and system's portfolio failure mode under vague and uncertain environment. Finally, a numerical case study was conducted to demonstrate that the proposed method is not only capable of addressing inherent drawbacks of traditional FMEA method but also is effective and efficient to be employed during continuous risk improvement process of a safety-related system.

TL;DR: A system built in a mobile nursing station accompanied by a high-tech device installed in the infusion drip equipment transmitting signals through a ZigBee wireless network is proposed that uses a dynamic wireless infusion monitoring mechanism.
Abstract: In this rapidly developing high-tech environment, building a nursing information system is essential. When an emergency occurs, nurses must immediately remove obstacle interrupting medical care to assist medical treatment successfully. In this paper, a system built in a mobile nursing station accompanied by a high-tech device installed in the infusion drip equipment transmitting signals through a ZigBee wireless network is proposed. This system uses a dynamic wireless infusion monitoring mechanism. When an emergency occurs, the intravenous drip sends out an alert message through the wireless environment to the system in the mobile nursing station. The system will reschedule previous processing ranks to assist nurses in taking care of routine medical operations efficiently. By applying this system, nurses can devote themselves to providing better quality medical care and claims for medical negligence or medical malpractice can be reduced.

TL;DR: An easy to use mobile augmented reality system that can support teachers in creating and designing AR materials that provides teachers with the ability to combine course content and multimedia materials in a way that promotes learning within an engaging and intuitive AR-based environment is created.
Abstract: A number of research studies have explored the impact of applying Augmented Reality (AR) technology to real-world learning environments. These studies have asserted that AR can improve students’ perceptions and enhance overall cognitive abilities when engaged in real-world learning activities. However, it is not easy for teachers to implement AR-based learning systems in classrooms because many teachers lack the skills and abilities of computer professionals or coding experts. In this study, we created an easy to use mobile augmented reality system that can support teachers in creating and designing AR materials. This mobile system provides teachers with the ability to combine course content and multimedia materials in a way that promotes learning within an engaging and intuitive AR-based environment. A quasi-experimental research design was used to evaluate the feasibility of using our proposed system to implement a variety of teaching activities. From the results of the questionnaire survey, we discovered that respondents rated the proposed system positively and were willing to formally incorporate mobile augmented reality into their future teaching plans. Therefore, we believe that teachers do regard our mobile augmented reality system as a useful tool that can supplement existing real-world learning activities with distinctive AR capabilities.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the knowledge sharing behaviors in the knowledge management system among firefighters and found the added exogenous variables also identically affect the knowledge-sharing behaviors among firefighters.
Abstract: This study mainly aims to explore the knowledge sharing behaviors in the knowledge management system among firefighters. The study is theoretically based on the planned behavior theory and the technology acceptance model. Also, by reviewing literatures with some exogenous variables like trust and organizational citizenship behavior added. There are totally 250 questionnaires delivered with valid receipt rated at 85.6%. Finally, the hypothesis testing is operated through regression analysis. It is found the added exogenous variables also identically affect the knowledge sharing behaviors among firefighters.
