TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors used profitability force and growth force of financial five forces to the financial ratio data collected from the enterprises of China, and the analysis results are sorted according to grey relational...
Abstract: In recent years, global economic environmental are facing a fluctuated and unstable period. Due to the influence of subprime mortage crisis in USA and debt crisis in Europe, bankdruptcy of many large enterprises occurs one after another. In many countries, credit bankruptcy and violation of debt contract also occurs frequently, the violation of settlement in stock market can even be seen occasionally. This indicates that for many companies, not only risk is not well managed, but also the risk they are facing with is not well understood. To avoid possible business operation risk, the managers of a company really need to inspect the financial situation and characteristic of a company in advance. In this study, first, profitability force and growth force of financial five forces are used to the financial ratio data collected from the enterprises of China. Meanwhile, stability force and activity force is used to perform Grey Relational Analysis and the analysis results are sorted according to grey relational ...

15 Feb 2009TL;DR: A fast IP traceback approach (FTA) based on network statistic analysis is proposed by maintaining the Branch Label Table (BLT) which contains some network statistics in edge routers, and an adaptive packet filter is proposed to mitigate the DDoS attacks.
Abstract: IP-spoofed DDoS attack is a serious security problem in Internet. Thus, an IP traceback approach is essential. In this paper, a fast IP traceback approach (FTA) based on network statistic analysis is proposed. By maintaining the Branch Label Table (BLT) which contains some network statistics in edge routers, the time of IP traceback procedure is efficiently reduced. In addition, an adaptive packet filter is proposed to mitigate the DDoS attacks. The packet drop rate adapts to the location of DDoS attackers and the queue length. Finally, ns-2 simulation is conducted to evaluate FTA. The simulation results show FTA substantially accelerates IP traceback procedure. Moreover, the proposed adaptive packet filter efficiently mitigates the DDoS attacks.

07 Jul 2015TL;DR: The threshold-based key generation approach (TKGA) for ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) is proposed, which is a multi-authority approach which utilize the technologies of functional encryption and (n, k)-secret sharing and could efficiently impede collusion attacks.
Abstract: Ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) is proposed to provide identity-based access control which is suitable for cloud storage services. In CP-ABE, because the authority is responsible for key management, it must be trusted. There is only one authority in CP-ABE. Thus, CP-ABE may suffer a single point of failure. Although multi-authority ABE could solve this problem, attackers still can execute collusion attacks to compromise authorities. Thus, in this paper, we propose the threshold-based key generation approach (TKGA) for ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE). TKGA is a multi-authority approach which utilize the technologies of functional encryption and (n, k)-secret sharing. TKGA could efficiently impede collusion attacks because no single authority can directly generate secret keys. Thus, TKGA can be compromised if and only if at least k of n authorities are compromised by attackers. According to our security and performance evaluation, although TKGA has additional computation and communication overhead, TKGA can improve security by impeding collusion attacks.

29 Mar 2005TL;DR: The framework presented in this paper integrates agent technology with BPEL4WS, to enable two levels of coordination, namely local and centralised coordination through composition, and wider, distributed coordination by means of negotiation between agents.
Abstract: Web services requirements for means of automating the coordination of distributed heterogeneous applications have been addressed by a two-pronged initiative. One has been driven by process management technologies, represented by the compositional language BPEL4WS, and the other by the Semantic Web technologies, represented by ontologies and agents. The framework presented in this paper integrates agent technology with BPEL4WS, to enable two levels of coordination, namely local and centralised coordination through composition, and wider, distributed coordination by means of negotiation between agents. This framework takes advantage of the efficient management of processes in BPEL4WS and of the flexibility and versatility of agents. A design and run-time environment, called SOA, has been developed to evaluate the feasibility of the framework.

20 Apr 2011TL;DR: A research design has been formed for performing the strategic planning on technology where IPC classification was employed to divide the patents into different categories and association analysis was adopted to discover the relations between terms and between clusters.
Abstract: Strategic suggestions are essential for companies to facilitate the top management to foresee and review the future directions of their company's research and development investment Therefore, a research design has been formed for performing the strategic planning on technology where IPC classification was employed to divide the patents into different categories and association analysis was adopted to discover the relations between terms and between clusters Consequently, the visualized results, crystallized diagrams and integrated map, were generated and the relations between technical topics and companies were observed Finally, according to the relations, the strategic suggestions on thin-film solar cell for companies were recognized and proposed
