TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the use of TiN as an alternative cheap and abundant plasmonic material for solar cells and found that TiN is also more CMOS compatible.
Abstract: Plasmonic materials, especially silver, are widely used to increase efficiency of solar cells due to their ability to localize the light in nanoscale This tight confinement increases the absorption of a thin film solar cell However, these materials are expensive and increase the cost/watt of the solar cell Thus, finding an abundant and cheap material with a comparable plasmonic effect can dramatically reduce solar cell cost by enabling the use of ultrathin active layers In this work, we investigate TiN as an alternative cheap and abundant plasmonic material TiN is also more CMOS compatible Several TiN plasmonic solar cell configurations are studied and analyzed These studies show that the TiN plasmonic solar cell has a comparable performance for back side plasmonic configuration

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of initial particle and grain size on the microstructural evolution as well as on the relative density and mechanical properties of the specimens consolidated through SPS and hot pressing (HP) at the same temperature for 60min was investigated for ball milled nano-powders (NP) and as-received micro-powls (MP).

TL;DR: A facile one pot synthesis of polyoxometalates encapsulated zeolite imidazolate framework cages (PMo10V2@ZIF-67) was reported in this paper.
Abstract: Herein, we report on a facile one pot synthesis of polyoxometalates encapsulated zeolite imidazolate framework cages (PMo10V2@ZIF-67). The morphological and structural properties of the as synthesized materials were investigated via FESEM, EDS, XRD and FTIR techniques. Moreover, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms and XPS measurements were carried out to elucidate the textural properties and composition of the fabricated materials. Upon their use as supercapacitor electrodes, the PMo10V2@ZIF-67 electrode exhibited a maximum specific capacitance of 765 F/g at a scan rate of 5 mV/s. Furthermore, a supercapacitor device was assembled using activated carbon as the negative electrode and PMo10V2@ZIF-67 as the positive electrode, delivering a specific power of 702 W/kg and a corresponding specific energy of 20.9 Wh/kg at a charging current density of 1 A/g. In addition, the device shows an excellent long term stability and high Columbic efficiency over 5000 charging and discharging cycles at a charging and discharging current density of 5 A/g.
