A Quantitative Variant of Voronovskaja’s Theorem

Abstract: A general quantitative Voronovskaja theorem for Bernstein operators is given which bridges the gap between such estimates in terms of the least concave majorant of the first order modulus of continuity and the first order Ditzian–Totik modulus with classical weight $$\varphi(x) = \sqrt {x(1 - x)}$$ .

A study on the relationship between geotechnical properties and clay mineral composition of Hanoi soft soils in saline media

Abstract: Soft soil in Hanoi, Vietnam, is mainly originated from lacustrine and shallow-sea sediment. This is the youngest formation with around 3000 years of age. To serve the research purpose, clayey soil samples at ten areas in Hanoi and some places in the RRD are prepared. Mineral composition of soils determined by X-ray diffraction analysis shows that clay minerals are predominated by Illite, Kaolinite, Chlorite, and Montmorillonite respectively. Many previous researches indicated that in saline-saturated condition, types of cation in saline water and types of clay mineral in soil layers, as well as their predomination decide the changing process of geotechnical properties in other manner. In this paper, the initial relationship between geotechnical properties and clay mineral composition of Hanoi soft soils in saline-saturated media is established.

Abstract: Russian Abstract: В статье рассмотрено современное состояние профессионального образования в области экологического менеджмента и аудита, становление и развитие которого проходит в услови-ях господства неоклассической экономической теории. Приведена критика этой теории как неадекватной в современных социокультурных условиях. Раскрыта сущность экологическо-го менеджмента и аудита как эффективных механизмов экологизации хозяйственной дея-тельности. Обоснована значимость профессионального образования в области экологическо-го менеджмента и аудита в современных условиях. Охарактеризована концептуальная мо-дель профессионального образования в области экологического менеджмента и аудита. Кон-струирование модели осуществлено с учетом внешних факторов: ценностей общества, соци-ально-экономических условий, экологической ситуации, тенденций развития экологической науки и теории управления, современных парадигм развития профессионального образова-ния, а также социальных и личностных потребностей, формирующих ценностно-целевые, структурно-содержательные, процессуально-технологические ее стороны.English Abstract: In article the current state of professional education in the field of ecological management and audit is considered, formation and which development takes place in conditions of domination of the ne-oclassical economic theory. The criticism of the designated theory as insolvent is given in modern sociocultural conditions. The essence of ecological management and audit as effective mechanisms of greening of economic activity is opened. The importance of professional education in the field of ecological management and audit in modern conditions is proved. The conceptual model of profes-sional education in the field of ecological management and audit is characterized. Designing of model is carried out taking into account external factors: values of society, social and economic conditions, an ecological situation, tendencies of development of ecological science and the theory of management, modern paradigms of development of professional education, and also social and personal requirements forming valuable and target, structural and substantial, procedurally - its technological parties.
