Abstract: This paper presents results of detailed studies of composite slag binders with mineral silica additions differing in reactivity. We have identified general trends and assessed the effects of composition, particle size, and binder hardening conditions on the normal consistency, paste setting time, hardening kinetics, strength, average density, and water absorption in composite slag binder stone. Using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, we have identified the key features of structure formation in stone with mineral silica additions and examined the influence of additives on the composition and volume of the hardening products of composite slag binders. The results have been used to construct a model of the structure and structural elements of composite slag binder stone with mineral silica additions.

Abstract: In this work,hercynite was synthesized from iron oxide scrap,Fe2O3 powder and Al2O3 powder by sintering process and electrocast process,respectively.The phase constituents of synthesized product were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),and the microstructure was observed with scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The experimental results show that the reducting stmosphere was obtained by adding of graphite in the samples and by embedding carbon method.The hercynite content synthesized by sintering process has only 20% and electrocast method arrives above 97%.

Abstract: The article is devoted to consideration of a practice-oriented approach implementation in a higher educational institution. The essence of this approach and possibility of its implementation in bachelors' training is revealed. If the selected methods are introduced into practice students' training will be more successful. Method of specific situations (case-study); educational games; project method that fully meets the requirements of the competence approach are under consideration. As a result of the analysis of bachelors' final qualifying works inNizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Kozma Minin ( major «Vocational training in industry)» for 2016-2017, the authors showed their compliance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. It is very significant for students who are going to work in various fields of industries. This justifies the need to use practice-oriented approach in training, which helps to teach graduates to be ready for professional activity.
