An analysis of off grid electrical systems in rural Sub-Saharan Africa

In this article, the authors look at various off gird electric system configurations in rural Kenya and suggest ways in which they could be reconfigured to be more energy efficient, and suggest that most of these emerging installations are individual isolated units.
