R-Parity-violating supersymmetry
Remi Barbier,C. Berat,Marc Besancon,M. Chemtob,Aldo Deandrea,Emilian Dudas,Emilian Dudas,P. Fayet,S. Lavignac,Grégory Moreau,E. Perez,Yves Sirois +11 more
TL;DR: Theoretical and phenomenological implications of R-parity violation in supersymmetric theories are discussed in the context of particle physics and cosmology in this paper, including the relation with continuous and discrete symmetries.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superallowed 0 + →0 + nuclear β decays: A new survey with precision tests of the conserved vector current hypothesis and the standard model
J.C. Hardy,I. S. Towner +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a critical survey of all half-life, decay-energy, and branching-ratio measurements related to 20 superallowed decay decays is presented, including a number of high precision Penning-trap measurements of decay energies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Basis-independent methods for the two-Higgs-doublet model III: The CP-conserving limit, custodial symmetry, and the oblique parameters S, T, U
Howard E. Haber,Deva O'Neil +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a basis-independent expression for the constraints that impose custodial symmetry on the 2Higgs scalar potential was obtained, and the mass degeneracies of the two-Higgs doublet model were clarified.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quarks and Leptons Beyond the Third Generation
TL;DR: The possibility of additional quarks and leptons beyond the three generations already established is discussed in this paper, with the possibility of exceptionally long lifetimes and decay modes being dependent on the mass spectrum and mixing angles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved constraints on Z′ bosons from electroweak precision data
TL;DR: In this article, the mass of the neutral Z' boson, predicted in all such models, and on the Z?Z' mixing angle, were investigated and the precision electroweak (EW) data strongly constrain?ZZ' to very small values and for most models, they find lower limits on MZ' of (1TeV).

The Higgs Hunter's Guide
TL;DR: The Higgs Hunter's Guide as mentioned in this paper is a comprehensive and comprehensive guide to the physics of Higgs bosons and discusses the extended Higgs sectors required by those recent theoretical approaches that go beyond the Standard Model, including supersymmetry and superstring inspired models.
Journal ArticleDOI
New constraint on a strongly interacting Higgs sector
Michael E. Peskin,Tatsu Takeuchi +1 more
TL;DR: It is shown that an integral {ital S} over the spectral function of spin-1 states of the Higgs sector is constrained by precision weak-interaction measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
The four-loop β-function in quantum chromodynamics
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the analytical calculation of the four-loop QCD β-function within the minimal subtraction scheme and show that it can be computed within a constant time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of Parity Nonconservation and an Anapole Moment in Cesium
C. S. Wood,S. C. Bennett,Donghyun Cho,B. P. Masterson,J. L. Roberts,Carol E. Tanner,Carl E. Wieman +6 more
TL;DR: The amplitude of the parity-nonconserving transition between the 6S and 7S states of cesium was precisely measured with the use of a spin-polarized atomic beam, providing an improved test of the standard model at low energy, including a value for the S parameter of −1.3(3)exp (11)theory.
