Propagation Protocols for Network-Wide Localization Based on Two-Way Ranging
TL;DR: It is shown that the proposed Optimized Beacon protocol requires much less messages than two other considered protocols while achieving almost the same convergence delay as the Beacon protocol.

LBS Position Estimation by Adaptive Selection of Positioning Sensors Based on Requested QoS
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a solution for consistent establishment and deployment of the LBS Quality of Service (QoS) hierarchy, including position estimation errors and response time, achieved by either single position sensor, or a combination of several position estimation sensors and methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Software GPS Receiver
TL;DR: The definition of a software receiver, its difference from a conventional receiver, and the data collection hardware employed is presented and the advantages of aSoftware receiver are presented.

Galileo Constellation Design
TL;DR: In this paper, a significant effort has been carried out in Europe to define the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), named Galileo Satellites flying in Medium Earth Orbits (MEO) will compose the system according to the most recent architecture definition baseline; a regional complement of geosynchronous satellites may be required to increase performances over Europe and maybe also to provide some specific communication services.

Enhanced GPS narrowband jamming detection using high-resolution spectral estimation
TL;DR: An innovative high-resolution frequency estimation method to accurately detect single and multiple in-band continuous-wave jamming signals transmitted at very close-by frequencies is proposed and demonstrates its capabilities of simultaneously detecting more than one GPS jammer existing at close- by frequencies.

Wide Area Differential GPS
TL;DR: Simulation results indicate that normal GPS positioning errors can potentially be reduced by more than 95% using WADGPS.
Ephemeris and Clock Navigation Message Accuracy
J. Zumberge,W. Bertiger +1 more
TL;DR: The accuracy of the ephemeris and clock corrections contained in the GPS navigation message is discussed.
GPS and Inertial Integration
TL;DR: This chapter devotes one section to address each of the following questions: how complex are the integration algorithms required to provide the desired level of performance, with options for growth to meet future requirements?
Test Range Instrumentation
TL;DR: In the early 1970s, laser trackers became available to support test activities as discussed by the authors, and a combination of radar, distance-measuring equipment (DME), optical trackers such as cinetheodolites, and other miscellaneous instrumentation to provide time-space position information (TSPI) to satisfy test platform positioning requirements.
