EVA: GPS-based extended velocity and acceleration determination

TL;DR: In this article, a new GPS carrier phase-based velocity and acceleration determination method is presented that extends the effective range of previous techniques, named EVA, and may find applications in fields such as airborne gravimetry when rough terrain or water bodies make difficult or impractical to set up nearby GPS reference receivers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of Attitude Determination Methods Using GPS Carrier Phase Measurements

TL;DR: In this paper, two algorithms (LSAST and LAMBDA) were implemented and tested for ambiguity resolution allowing accurate real-time attitude determination using measurements given by GPS receivers in coupled form.

Wavelet Neural Network for Corrections Prediction in Single-Frequency GPS Users

TL;DR: Experimental results show that WNN, trained by the PSO algorithm, is able to reduce RMS errors to less than 1 m with SA on and 0.6m with SA off, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are shown.

Enhanced Narrowband Signal Detection and Estimation with a Synthetic Antenna Array for Location Applications

TL;DR: This paper aims to provide a chronology of the events leading to and following the publication of this book and its publication in the peer-reviewed literature.

Wide Area Differential GPS

TL;DR: Simulation results indicate that normal GPS positioning errors can potentially be reduced by more than 95% using WADGPS.

Ephemeris and Clock Navigation Message Accuracy

J. Zumberge, +1 more
TL;DR: The accuracy of the ephemeris and clock corrections contained in the GPS navigation message is discussed.

GPS and Inertial Integration

TL;DR: This chapter devotes one section to address each of the following questions: how complex are the integration algorithms required to provide the desired level of performance, with options for growth to meet future requirements?

Test Range Instrumentation

TL;DR: In the early 1970s, laser trackers became available to support test activities as discussed by the authors, and a combination of radar, distance-measuring equipment (DME), optical trackers such as cinetheodolites, and other miscellaneous instrumentation to provide time-space position information (TSPI) to satisfy test platform positioning requirements.
