High field conductivity in polypyrrole

TLDR
In this paper, high electric field conduction properties of polypyrrole films prepared by anodic deposition as a function of temperature were measured and it was shown that the grain tunnelling model is still a better description than variable range hopping.

Glassy carbon electrode modified by conductive polyaniline coating for determination of trace lead and cadmium ions in acetate buffer solution

TL;DR: In this paper, polyaniline (PANI) coatings were electrodeposited on the surfaces of glassy carbon electrodes (GCEs) to form new electrodes, and the PANI/GCE was used to detect Cd2+ and Pb2+ ions contained in 0.1 M acetate buffer solutions using square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV).

Carbon nanotube based composites for electronic applications: CNT–conducting polymers, CNT–Cu

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed two different types of composites using single wall carbon nanotubes: 1) transparent electrodes, using a thin network of carbon Nanotubes as electrode on which they can grow a conducting polymer electrochemically on it, polyaniline or polypirrole, CNT-CP; the obtained thin films are both transparent (transmission coefficient T from 70% to 95%) and electrically conducting

Fluctuation-induced tunneling conduction in disordered materials

TL;DR: In this article, it is shown that the electrical conduction can be attributed to a novel mechanism, fluctuation-induced tunneling, in which the thermally activated voltage fluctuations across insulating gaps play an important role in determining the temperature and field dependences of the conductivity.
