Suillin: A mixed-type acetylcholinesterase inhibitor from Suillus luteus which is used by Saraguros indigenous, southern Ecuador
TL;DR: In this paper , the main secondary metabolite of Suillus luteus and its inhibitory potential against acetylcholinesterase was investigated. And the results showed that suillin exerted a noncompetitive mixed mechanism against AChE with an IC50 value of 31.50 μM and Ki of 17.25 μM.
