Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of free carrier density in the low doping regime of 4H-SiC by Raman scattering

TL;DR: In this paper, the free carrier concentration of n-4H-SiC was deduced by Raman spectroscopy using LO phonon plasmon coupled (LOPC) modes as a monitor band.
Journal ArticleDOI

Active Graphene Plasmonics with a Drift-Current Bias

TL;DR: In this paper, a drift-current biased graphene sheet on a silicon carbide substrate enables loss compensation and plasmon amplification, and the active response of the sheet is shown to be linear in the number of drift currents.
Journal ArticleDOI

FDMX: extended X-ray absorption fine structure calculations using the finite difference method.

TL;DR: A new theoretical approach and computational package, FDMX, for general calculations of X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) over an extended energy range within a full-potential model is presented, allowing for accurate absorption cross sections in the near-edge region.
Journal ArticleDOI

Energy loss of swift H and He projectiles in Al, Si, Ni and Cu targets

TL;DR: In this paper, the Spanish Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia and Generalitat Valenciana (GVC) provided support under the Ramon y Cajal Program and Universitat d'Alacant for support under project GRE07-1P.
Journal ArticleDOI

Off-diagonal response by means of inelastic x-ray scattering

TL;DR: In this article, inelastic scattering of X-ray photons from two different modes of the wave field, generated within the analyzer of a Laue-case Xray interferometer at the interference position, is shown to be measurable by means of inelastically scattering of the photons from different modes.
